	CASE OF THE FACE-DOWN SKELETON. Around 1880, a skeleton was found on land only a few yards from where [[DUBUQUE, Julien\|Julien DUBUBUE]] had once operated a [[LEAD]] smelter. The skeleton was buried only two or three feet deep. From the appearance of the bones, it was estimated that the skeleton had been buried for thirty or forty years.
