	Buelow played third base in 1900 for the Cleveland (Ohio) Blues of the American League, one year before the league was recognized officially. Sold at the end of the year to the Pittsburgh Pirates, he was sold again to the New York Giants prior to the start of the 1901 season. (1) He played second and third base. (2) He debuted in the major leagues on June 1, 1901 and played his final game in the majors on August 1, 1901. A knee injury limited his playing time considerably. By 1902 he was back in the minor leagues playing in the Three-I League for Rockford.
