(1) John Brede had previously been involved for two years with the Peaslee-Brede Company, another liquor merchant. 	Brede went on to establish the [[EAGLE CHEMICAL COMPANY]]. Lang remained in the wholesale liquor business at 336 Main under the name Louis A.
