&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;BRAMMER&amp;#039;S SUPER-VALU. Roy Brammer, a former teacher, cafe operator, and salesman in northeastern Iowa, established Brammer&amp;#039;s Cash Grocery in January, 1934. The popularity of the store led to the first remodeling and enlarging program in 1938. Rex Brammer purchased the business following college at the [[UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE]] and military service in India. Bruce Brammer and Rex became associated as partners. (1)&lt;br /&gt;

The 1955 and 1959 &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Dubuque City Directory&amp;#039;&amp;#039; listed 1306 Delhi. A landmark in the area for thirty years, the store was destroyed by fire in May, 1967. (2)&lt;br /&gt;
