	BETTY BUILDING. Located at 901 Jackson, the building was named for the Betty Baxter Products advertising that once covered much of the southeastern wall ~~of the building~~. The building was constructed in several stages beginning in the 1850s. Originally a linseed oil paint factory, it was later a bakery and finally an electrical supply house operated by [[UNIVERSAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY INC.]] The advertising and much of the white paint were later removed.
