	BECKER, August. (Germany--Dubuque, IA, Jan. 1913). In 1872 Becker came to the United States and worked in the Koehler & Lange brewery at Davenport, Iowa. He briefly moved to Rock Island, Illinois, but eight months later he returned to Davenport and for a year again worked for Koehler & Lange.
