	~~Another tune about Dubuque was "Dubuque" written by Rita Dolphin, Margarete Mary Hughes, and F. C. Maher in 1933.~~

	"[[DUKE OF DUBUQUE]]," with words and music written by Billy Faber and James Marchant, appeared in 1941. The song, originally recorded by the Four Vagabonds for RCA, was revived in the 1980s by ''The Manhattan Transfer'', a pop musical group that sang the song on a television special called "Night of 1,000 Stars" and for PBS-TV on its "Evening at the Pops" with the Boston Pops Orchestra.

	In 1967 Jules Alexander of the pop group ''The Association'' wrote "Dubuque Blues" after performing at a ramp dance at the Locust Street parking ramp. The group released the song as part of an album in 1969.

	~~In 1981 [[HEMMER, Paul\|Paul HEMMER]] wrote "Let's Hear It For Dubuque" for the [[DUBUQUE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE]].~~
