A graduate of [[WAHLERT CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL]], he went on the earn a bachelor&amp;#039;s degree in piano performance and K-12 vocal education from Iowa State University, a master&amp;#039;s degree in collaborative piano from the University of Michigan where he studied with Martin Katz, and a doctorate in vocal coachin and accompanying from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In 2018 he worked as the music director and pianist in the world premier of &amp;quot;Nathan Gunn: Flying Solo&amp;quot; featuring the famous operatic baritone. (2)&lt;br /&gt;
