[[INTERSTATE POWER COMPANY]] shared in sponsoring the event by furnishing transportation. (1) In 1958 Associated Theatres played host to famed western actor, Joel McCrea, whose new movie "Cattle Empire" was showing at the [[ORPHEUM]]. As part of the movie promotion to hospitals, orphan homes, and the Boys' Club in Dubuque, an autograph party was the Orpheum was scheduled for 8:00 p.m. He was then scheduled for Des Moines and Davenport.
