	ANDERSON, Sarah J. (Cincinnati, OH, Sept. 12, 1829--Dubuque, IA, Feb. 12, 1926). Anderson, the owner of the first piano in Dubuque, came to the city in 1842 and lived there until 1908 when she moved to Minneapolis. She was the organist at [[ST. 			On December 17, 1869 the constitution of the [[DUBUQUE EARLY SETTLERS' ASSOCIATION]] was amended. The word "male" in the third section was removed and provision was made for women members of the organization. Sarah J. Anderson was one of these members. (2)
