PARKIN L. WELLS. Wells owned a brickyard at 5th and Hill. At the time of his death in Chicago in November 1866 he was owed for bricks by the GERMAN ROMAN CATHOLIC BUILDING ASSOCIATION OF DUBUQUE which may indicate that some of his production was used in the construction of ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH.
