FERRING, Robert. (Rev. Msgr.) (Waukon, IA- ). Ferring, a member of the LORAS COLLEGE staff since 1958, was a co-founder of the Upper Midwest Honors Association for small universities and colleges. He also served as national secretary-treasurer of Delta Epsilon Sigma, the national Catholic honors society.
Ferring began his association with Loras as a professor of political science. Assuming other responsibilities led Ferring to the position of academic dean in 1971. He resigned for health reasons in 1972.
