ZOLLICOFFER, Jacob. (Peru Township, IA, Mar. 10, 1839--Seattle, WA, July 14, 1922). Born three years after his parents arrived in Dubuque, Zollicoffer worked on their farm and added to it until he owned 460 acres in Section 23 Peru Township along the MISSISSIPPI RIVER north of Dubuque.
