YIANNIAS, Andrew James. (Dubuque, IA, May 5, 1930--Houston, TX, August 11, 1999). The son of Mr. and Mrs. James N. YIANNIAS and brother of Nickas J. YIANNIAS, Andrew attended preparatory school at Philips Exeter Academy in 1948 and graduated from Harvard University in 1952 cum laude in mathematics. He continued his education at the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University graduating in 1974 and earned the title of Certified Financial Planner from the College of Financial Planning in 1880.

Moving to Houston, Andrew worked in Mission Control at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). In 1982 he opened his own financial planning firm, Sunbelt Financial Group. He was active in the International Association of Financial Planners. He later worked as vice president of the Trust Department at Wells Fargo Bank.
