WEINER, Ronald J. (Dubuque, IA, Oct. 25, 1930--Dubuque, IA, Feb. 2, 1992). The owner and operator of the WALNUT TAP for thirty-three years, Ronald was a leader in the environmental movement in eastern Iowa. He was president of the Dubuqueland Pheasants Forever and served on the state boards of Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, and the Issac Walton League. He was also a member of the Resource Enhancement and Protection Committee and the Trees Forever and Roadside Enhancement Committee. He was a past member of the Dubuque County Conservation Board.
