TREDWAY, Fannie Bissell (Unknown--Dubuque, IA, May 29, 1927). The wife of Alfred TREDWAY, Fannie was one of the prominent women in Dubuque through her involvement in civic matters. She contributed financially to FINLEY HOSPITAL (THE), the DUBUQUE VISITING NURSE ASSOCIATION, and to many individuals in times of need.

She was a charter member of the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and served as regent of that group. She was also a charter member of the DUBUQUE WOMEN'S CLUB. Fannie served as president of the Finley Hospital Auxiliary and was active in the day camp sponsored by the Visiting Nurses.
