SCHRUP, Rosalyn. (Dubuque, IA--Dubuque, IA, Jan, 27, 1963). The daughter of Nicholas J. SCHRUP, Sr. and Mary Kransk Schrup, Rosalyn graduated from ST. JOSEPH ACADEMY and attended CLARKE COLLEGE in 1950. A member of the board of directors of the Dubuque County Chapter of the American Red Cross since 1918, she was secretary of the chapter from 1948 to 1960. She served both as vice president and secretary of the Dubuque Circle, member of the International Federation of Catholic Alumni and was a member of the Third Order of St. Dominic at St. Rose Priory and the Rosary Society of ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH.

At the time of her death, she was the only woman ever to have received an honorary doctor of laws degree from LORAS COLLEGE.
