SCHOOL OF INSTRUCTION (THE). ST. JOHN'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH announced "The School of Instruction" on August 24, 1890. A free school of vocal musical instruction, it had been attended the previous winter by sixty males and fifty females. When a student was graduated from the preparatory school, he/she promised one year of participation in the choir. The instruction was provided by Professor B. F. Peters.
