NORTH END NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION. Established in 1992 to improve the quality of the neighborhood, the Association distributed a quarterly newsletter, The Northender, which reached 1,500 people. The Association also endorsed large grant applications for the Americorps Summer Youth programs.

The group was active in the BEE BRANCH flooding issue and worked with the Department of Leisure Services in planning lighting landscaping and renovation of COMISKEY PARK.
