NORD IOWA POST
NORD IOWA POST. In 1878 the Post was brought to Dubuque from Lansing, Iowa where it had been published by Peter KARBERG. The Dubuque Herald wished him financial success, but hoped politically "it will soon publish its own requiem." (1)
On October 19, 1880 the Herald reported that the "job office" of the Post was shipped to Lincoln, Nebraska the previous day. (2) The Herald later accused the publisher's attempt at operating two newspapers at the same time as the cause for the loss of the Post. (3)
