MATHIAS M. HOFFMANN. The 1884-1885 through 1890-91 Dubuque City Directory, gave the northwest corner of Clay and 15th.
The 1899-1900 through the 1929 Dubuque City Directory listed 1497 Clay. In 1922 the business was listed in the Dubuque Telephone Directory as M. M. Hoffmann & Son.
