M. HOLLENFELZ. By 1882 Hollenfelz had enough success operating a bar that he entered the wholesale liquor trade at 154-168 6th. This address had served as his bar since 1878-79. His warehouse and bottling works was located at the corner of 6th and Iowa.
In 1892 Hollenfelz moved his wholesale liquor business to East Dubuque, Illinois where he continued to operate it through 1900.
The 1874-1875 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at 162 E. 6th.
The 1880 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was to be found at 154-168 6th.
According to the 1883 Dubuque City Directory, this business was located at 154 6th.
The 1884-1885 Dubuque City Directory listed 168 6th as the address.
The 1886-87 Dubuque City Directory listed 154 to 162 6th.
