LOETSCHER, Carol. The wife of Richard "Dick" LOETSCHER, Carol spent nearly five years organizing her husband's collection of historic documents concerning the FARLEY AND LOETSCHER MANUFACTURING COMPANY, interviewing local people, and then writing Wood: The History of Farley & Loetscher Manufacturing Company Once the Largest Millwork Company in the World, a definitive history of the manufacturing giant.

In addition to book signings, the publication led to a guided tour of what had been called "The Lumber Shed" in the Historic Millwork District.
