KLAUER, Howard Rudolph

KLAUER, Howard Rudolph. (Dubuque, IA, Apr. 3, 1915-Dubuque, IA, Feb. 25, 1988). Professional engineer. Founder of the International Recording Company of Chicago, Klauer worked in the Dubuque County Zoning Office before his retirement in 1982. His efforts were primarily responsible for the redrawing of the City of Dubuque plat book in the early 1960s.
