KEYSER, Christine. (Fort Dodge, IA, Nov. 16, 1956-- ). Keyser earned an associate's degree from Iowa Central Community College, bachelor's degree in English education at the University of Northern Iowa, and a master's degree in communications from Drake University. She was an honors graduate at the School of Bank Marketing in Boulder, Colorado and earned a certificate of accreditation from the Public Relations Society of America Inc. Prior to coming to Dubuque, she was the marketing director at First Interstate Bank of Des Moines.

Keyser came to Dubuque in 1989 and worked at AMERICAN TRUST AND SAVINGS BANK.

She began her civic contributions with the Dubuque Council for Diversity and was active in organizing the Night to Unite diversity rally at Eagle Point Park in May, 1992. She became active in DUBUQUE MAIN STREET, LTD. and in 1983 received the Best Individual Volunteer Award at the Sixth Annual Main Street Awards. She was also a member of Women in Management Inc. Keyser was credited with implementing plans to increase ticket sales for the DUBUQUE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA.

Keyser served as the vice president of Dubuque Main Street, board of directors and president of Women in Management Inc, past president and charter member of Public Relations Society of America, past member of Advertisers of Dubuque board of directors, past member of Dubuque Symphony Orchestra board of directors, and past committee member and chairwoman of the DUBUQUE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.

She moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1994.
