Kaleidoscope. The organization was formed in Dubuque in 1992 to present ethnic art and culture in such locations as malls, parks and on STREETS. One of the first activities of the group was assembling information for churches and organizations listing the names of ethnic performers and artists with ethnic themes. Another innovation was to encourage "run-outs," free public performances at colleges or FIVE FLAGS CIVIC CENTER when ethnic groups came to Dubuque.
