Hardie, the recipient of the 1988 [[FIRST CITIZEN AWARD]] of the [[TELEGRAPH HERALD]], compiled a distinguished list of service to the Dubuque community. Hardie, the recipient of the 1988 FIRST CITIZEN AWARD of the TELEGRAPH HERALD, compiled a distinguished list of service to the Dubuque community.
