Upon the death of his father, his brothers joined Glab, and in 1892 the brewing company was consolidated with other local [[BREWERIES]] into the [[DUBUQUE BREWING AND MALTING COMPANY]]. Nicholas served as president and general manager.

GLAB, Nicholas. (Dubuque, IA, Apr. 10, 1857--Dubuque, IA, May 22, 1915). Eldest son of Adam GLAB, Nicholas was associated all his life in management of the NORTHERN BREWING COMPANY. (1)

Upon the death of his father, his brothers joined Glab, and in 1892 the brewing company was consolidated with other local BREWERIES into the DUBUQUE BREWING AND MALTING COMPANY.
