FITZGERALD, James C.
FITZGERALD, James C. (Monroe, WI, June 25, 1938--Dubuque, IA, Dec. 29, 2016) The son of James E. and Monica C. (Galle) Fitzgerald, Jim graduated from LORAS ACADEMY and on November 27, 1958 married Carol “Budie” Barton at HOLY TRINITY CATHOLIC CHURCH. He worked for the CELOTEX CORPORATION for many years until his retirement.
Jim had a great love for baseball and played for many years. He was inducted into the DUBUQUE COUNTY BASEBALL HALL OF FAME, DUBUQUE FAST PITCH HALL OF FAME and the Kiwanis Fast Pitch Hall of Fame. His love of the sport continued by his watching his grandchildren play the game.
