FISCHER ARTIFICIAL ICE & COLD STORAGE COMPANY. The incorporation of Fischer Artificial Ice and Cold Storage Company was announced on January 23, 1913. Its initial stock was placed at $100,000 and the company was not scheduled to begin business until $50,000 of the stock had been purchased.
The first directors of the corporation were Louis Albert Fischer, Frank J. Eldon Fischer, and Alphons L. Mathis. The officers were A. L. Fischer, president; Eldon Fischer, vice-president, and Alphons Mathis, secretary and treasurer.
