FALB, Mark. (Postville, IA-- ). Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Westmark Enterprises, Inc. A graduate of the University of Iowa in 1969, Falb was employed with McGladrey, Hendrickson & Pullen prior to joining WCB GROUP in October 1973. He became the Director of Operations in October 1978 and advanced to Corporate Vice President/Operations in June 1979. He held this officer until August 1981 when he became the Executive Vice President. He served as the president and chief executive officer of Westmark Enterprises, Inc. from November 1992 to November 1993, before becoming chairman and chief executive officer. Beginning in November 1992 he also served as chairman and chief executive officer of KENDALL/HUNT PUBLISHING COMPANY.

Active in the community, Falb served as a director of DUBUQUE BANK AND TRUST COMPANY, JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT, DUBUQUE BOYS' CLUB, Hartig Drug Company, Ameriscan Technologies Corporation, University of Iowa College of Business Board of Visitors, and the Iowa Scholarship Fund. He was a trustee of the UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE, past president and chairman of the DUBUQUE GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB, and a member of the DUBUQUE SHOOTING SOCIETY.
