EDWIN HANCOCK. Married in North Moulton, England in 1848, Edwin and his wife came to London, Canada and then Buffalo, New York before settling in Dubuque in 1857. (1)

The 1859-1860 and 1861 Dubuque City Directory listed Main between 10th and 11th.

The 1875-1876 Dubuque City Directory listed the manufacturing site at 856 Main.

According to the 1878-79 through 1886-87 Dubuque City Directory, this business was located at 131 8th. This location was called the WHEELER & WILSON sewing machine office. (12

The 1890-91 Dubuque City Directory listed 1066 Main.
