EAGLE CHEMICAL COMPANY. Eagle Chemical Company established and incorporated on May 18, 1910, advertised its manufacture of a variety of chemicals for "cleanliness and healthful conditions" in all public buildings, farm and dairy buildings, and private dwellings." Germ-A-Kill and Urnaline destroyed and prevented "all germs, insects and vermin." The company also produced a sweeping compound for "laying the dust in stores, offices, hospitals, schools and public buildings of every kind."

The 1911-12 Dubuque City Directory listed 165 Locust.
