DUBUQUE TOY COMPANY. This promotional model or toy bus has a decal on both sides that says: "Jefferson Lines." It is marked: "Dubuque Toy Co. Dubuque Iowa" with indented lettering in the casting on the inside.

The bus is a scale model of the buses that the Jefferson Lines used in the 1940s and 1950s. In 2010 Jefferson Lines was still in business and was based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Dubuque Toy Company was part of the Eska Company that acted as a middleman for the Ertl Company in its early years.

The 1957 Dubuque City Directory listed 123 Main.
