DUBUQUE CITY BANK. Located at 61 Main Street between Third and Fourth, the Bank ("of Herron Brothers") were dealers in exchange, land warrants, gold, silver, and bank notes. The advertisement in the Dubuque City Directory of 1857-1858 stated,"we draw directly on London and Liverpool for any amount from £1 upward."
