DUBUQUE CHORAL SOCIETY. Organized in 1878, the Dubuque Choral Society in 1880 had weekly rehearsals with its annual weeking the last Monday in June. R. E. Graves was the president. The Dubuque City Directory of 1880 stated there were seventy active members.
