DOLTER, Paul. (Dubuque, IA, Mar. 24, 1931--Dubuque, IA, Dec. 29, 2014). The son of Frank J. and Elizabeth (Klein) Dolter, Paul married Elizabeth "Betty" McCurdy on October 1, 1955, at ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH. He graduated from LORAS ACADEMY in 1949 and the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1967.

Paul was employed by Eaton Corporation for 33 years. He began his career at Eaton as a Product Engineer. He was awarded patents for various valve designs and was a member of the Eaton Inventors Club. He then became a Quality Control Specialist for manufacturing plants in Hanover and Savanna. He eventually became plant manager at Eaton factories in Savanna, Hanover, Warren, and Batavia.

Paul actively participated in Power of Prayer and supported Right to Life, and was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was also a member of the Chamber of Commerce in Savanna, Illinois.
