DENNIS, Albert. (Dubuque, IA, Oct. 8, 1868--Unknown). Dennis attended the public schools in Dubuque and then entered the BAYLESS BUSINESS COLLEGE.

He was first employed in a local sawmill and then moved to Omaha, Nebraska where he was involved in the electric business.

Dennis returned to Dubuque in 1891 and entered the wholesale flour business in the firm of WATTERS & DENNIS. In 1916 he became a partner in the DENNIS BROS. COMPANY. Following the incorporation of the company, he served as the secretary-treasurer and became the company president in 1925.
