HOMES. Dubuque architectural heritage is well-known. As new industries came to the city, leaders of representative companies had their homes constructed in the then-popular style of architecture. Although many of these homes were lost over time through neglect, fire, or urban renewal, a great many remain and are featured on house tours--both public and private. The following homes are among these cherished reminders of years gone by.
