CONLON, Elizabeth Roedell. (Dubuque, IA, Mar. 3, 1943--Dubuque, IA, Aug. 26, 2016). The daughter of Richard P. and Alice "Patricia" (Hunter) Roedell, Elizabeth graduated from DUBUQUE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in 1961 and attended the University of Iowa.

She served on the board of directors of the DUBUQUE ART ASSOCIATION and was a volunteer with Mercy Service Club. In 1974, she and her brother Richard opened Palais Royal Antiques, one of the first commercial shops located at the foot of the FOURTH STREET ELEVATOR.

Elizabeth was a director of the Dubuque March of Dimes and the Development for the Benedictine Sisters in Madison, Wisconsin, volunteer coordinator for Project Concern, and worked with the City of Dubuque Planning Commission until her retirement in 2005.
