CLENDENEN, Marv. (Dubuque, IA-- ). Boxer. Considered one of the best junior boxers in Iowa, Clendenen began boxing at the age of eight. In 1979 when he was fifteen, Clendenen lost to future Olympic champion Mark Breland in the finals of the Junior Olympics National Tournament.
