CHARLES KLINGENBERG. The 1861 Dubuque City Directory listed a grocery on Washington between 11th and 12th.

The 1867 Dubuque City Directory gave the address for this business as Couler Avenue.

The 1868-69 Dubuque City Directory listed the southeast corner of Eagle Point Avenue and Couler.

The 1870-1871 and 1874-1875 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at the southeast corner of Eagle Point and Couler avenues.

The 1875-1876 Dubuque City Directory placed this business, flour and feed, at 2142 Couler.

The 1878-79 Dubuque City Directory listed 2136 Couler.

The 1880 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located along the east side of Couler near Eagle Point Avenue.

The 1884-1885 through 1899-1900 Dubuque City Directory listed 2132 Couler as the address. This was called the "Key City Store."
