CHAMBERS, Leo. (Dubuque, IA--Dubuque, IA, May 4, 1977). Deputy County Auditor and Deputy Commissioner of Elections. Chambers joined the Dubuque FIRE DEPARTMENT on June 13, 1943, and rose to the rank of captain on August 1, 1972.

Chambers was president of the Dubuque American Legion Building Corporation. At the time of his death, he was serving the county as the deputy auditor and commissioner of elections.
