CASCADE HOUSE. The 1874-1875 through 1878-79 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at 180 Locust.

The 1890-91 Dubuque City Directory listed 168 Locust.

In 1909 the Cascade House barn between 1st and 2nd STREETS on Locust was remodeled and turned into a hack line belonging to W. F. Rollins. Rollins already had six hacks in service and planned on adding three more. (1)
