BYRNE, John. (Dubuque, IA, Jan. 7, 1859—May 24, 1914). The second son of Thomas BYRNE, Byrne partnered with James Saul in many Dubuque construction projects, among them St. Anthony’s Home, the foundation of St. Raphael’s School, several convent buildings at Sinsinawa Mound, and the foundations for Keane Hall and Hennessy Hall at LORAS COLLEGE.
