BAINBRIDGE, Norman. (Olmstead, OH, May 4, 1913--Dubuque, IA, Aug. 11, 1988). Bainbridge, general manager of the [[ST. REGIS PAPER COMPANY]] until his retirement, was elected president of the Finley Hospital Board in 1965. In 1957 he had served as general chairman of the United Way. (1)

Bainbridge was a member of the local Kiwanis Club in the 1950s and participated in doubles badminton in the service club Olympics. (2)  He was also a member of the board of the [[DUBUQUE VISITING NURSE ASSOCIATION]] and the [[YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION (Y.M.C.A.)]] (3)
